Senior manager FDS training


This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted August 8, 2019.

Description The Senior Manager, FDS (Financial and Distribution Services) Training will be responsible for delivering the commercial objectives of the FDS Training portfolio covering both distance-learning and instructor-led training products.

The role will be pivotal in increasing the visibility of the portfolio and to drive revenue growth across all regions.

Responsibilities Accountable for the commercial performance of the FDS Training portfolio (valued at more than $6m) with a focus on maximizing revenues from the different distribution channels for Training.Define and implement commercial strategies to grow revenue streams through the ATC partner network as well as to increase the visibility of FDS Training with RTPs and IATA Training Centers.Work closely with Regional Sales teams in the definition and follow-up of local commercial activities and to ensure that they are fully versed on the latest product development updates.Represent FDS Training in key external forums, and in coordination with IATA Training, evangelize for the professionalization of the travel profession through training.Through interaction with partners, customers and other external stakeholders, carry out ongoing market research and develop a strong understanding of market trends per region as input into the product development roadmap.In collaboration with Marketing, develop a thorough annual marketing plan that covers the requirements of the various products as well as taking into account regional differentiation, in both the B2B (partner and instructor-led) and B2C (self-study) channelsLead discussion, decision and implementation of pricing models, promotions, product positioning, new partnership models and other key commercial decisions and ensure alignment with key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills 7 to 10 years of professional experience in a commercially-related role in training, preferably with additional experience in the travel industryPreferable experience in selling training solutions to a global market through both B2B and B2C channels.Strong network in the global Training communityOutstanding presentation and communication skills with ability to transmit messages effectively and concisely.The ability to work in a complex, business critical and high profile commercial environment and in ambiguous situations.Fluency in English.
