The Center of Excellence (CoE) Governance Manager reports to the Solutions Management Director and is instrumental in managing and growing the SAP CoE organization.

The person is responsible for ensuring that governance and application lifecycle management processes are optimized, meet business needs and support enablement of the business orientations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate and work with the solution management leadership and business stakeholders to continuously evolve and mature the SAP Center of Excellence capabilities, functions, and responsibilities Advocate for the SAP COE in the organization as a means to help the business realize it’s goals and objectives Build solid relationships and liaise with business stakeholders and the owner community to ensure a high level of synergy and collaboration Provide thought leadership in application lifecycle management, seeking to implement best-practices that improve value delivery Contribute and provide support to the continuous integration and deployment culture across the applications teams to support continuous improvement objectives Champion and direct adoption of appropriate policy, standards, processes and guidelines, enabling process standardization across the COE platforms Lead the development and adoption of application development and configuration practices which will include but is not limited to areas of
– Build, Release and Change
– Quality assurance, Testing and Deployment
– Knowledge management and Training Identify and recommend automation and process technology support as needed Recommend and promote team member education to enhance (systems) functional expertise and capabilities that drive further innovation, simplification, and improved end-user adoption, resulting in greater value realization In collaboration with Architecture, establish the roadmap for making SAP technology advancements such as S4 and cloud-based solutions Support team members and business services departments in devising new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements Support improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation of solutions and ensures that business controls are put in place to monitor sustainability of process improvements.

Establish and follows budgets for small improvements initiatives Develop and implement frameworks to measure IT value and effectively Develop and implement appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure compliance to process governance standards and change management processes YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in managing business transformation programs Experience in managing multiple priorities, including ALM processes, team management, including coaching, mentoring, training, and organizational change management.

Experience in implementing IT operational practices, defining and writing standards, SOPs and guidelines Experience interfacing with IT/Business Units on policy, technology, and user experience/organizational change management activities Experience with SAP Technologies both ECC, S4/hana Experience in the assessment of IT Value and optimization of IT investments, IT Strategy planning and with the design of corporate IT organizations and governance frameworks Experience in software development lifecycle using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies Experience in reviewing policies and procedures which directly impact the business line and may affect the entire Line of Business Competent in risk management, business continuity management and process improvement tools and techniques Creative mind with strong analytical and conceptual skills to develop and present new ideas, approaches, and solutions Can manage priorities and reprioritize quickly to respond to a fast-changing environment Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to interact with all levels of an organization PMP, ITIL or equivalent certifications is an asset You’re able to work in French and English (written and oral) IND_TA
