The project manager will: Create and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, which defines activities, dependencies, duration and associated resource requirements Act as the main contact point between customers, production managers and the engineering team, on all project matters Manage all stakeholder expectations throughout the project Work closely with the client and internal teams to resolve issues, discrepancies and conflicts that may arise during the course of a project Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks Estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies Ability to adapt and be flexible with difficult situations Develop a communication plan with customers during all phases of the project Manage the priorities across multiple projects Initiate project billing Maintain job files and electronic documentation through to conclusion of the project Bachelor’s degree
– 3 years Project Management experience Equivalent mix of education/experience will be considered Experience in packing industry will be an asset Demonstrated competency to influence/negotiate with clients in a professional and personable manner Ability to organize and moderate in person project meetings as well as Skype/audio/video conferences with project stakeholders on a regular basis Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable Excellent English oral and written communication skills Exceptional planning and organization skills with the ability to manage a number of projects with competing priorities Able to work under pressure to meet firm budgets and tight deadlines A proven track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, owners and consultants Able to represent the company in a professional and respectful manner Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in MS-Word, Excel and Outlook Working knowledge of MS-Project Some basic skills with SAP will be an asset
