Project Manager

This is a Contract position in Terrebonne, QC posted September 13, 2023.

ICM IS LOOKING FOR A PROJECT MANAGER FOR AN ARCHITECTURALE WOODWORKING COMPANY, COMPETITIVE SALARY

  • Direct, plan, organize, coordinate and control the processes of all the stages related to the realization of the projects according to the purchase orders.
  • Validate the accuracy of information in terms of plans, quotes, invoicing, relevant and complementary information to projects
  • Visit the sites to validate and confirm the inventory in order to ensure the feasibility of the projects according to the physical and budgetary constraints.
  • Identify and evaluate the internal and external issues of the projects entrusted to him.
  • Develop, propose and validate operational practices and work methods that can improve deadlines, waste and budgets.
  • Understand and respond to requests from internal and external customers.
  • Coach and manage the performance of his work team, if necessary.
  • Set up and manage activities aimed at meeting revenue objectives, optimizing the use of resources, reducing costs and increasing the performance of his department and the company.
  • Ensure an optimal level of inventory and space utilization is maintained.
  • Communicate and follow up on results using performance indicators.
  • Support all continuous improvement and quality processes.

  • Hold a university degree (BAC in mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience):
  • DEC in architectural or administrative techniques or DEP in mechanical or building design (asset)
  • Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook. (mandatory);
  • All combinations of experience and education will be considered;
  • Experience in commercial construction companies (asset);
  • Strong planning and organizational skills;
  • Experience in continuous process improvement;
  • 3 to 5 years of experience
