Organizational Performance Advisor

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted April 3, 2018.

For the past 35 years, GIRO has established itself as a leader in the development of optimization software designed to improve productivity in the public transport and postal distribution industries.

Located in Montreal, GIRO has currently more than 350 full-time employees, mainly professionals in IT and operational research, serving over 300 public transportation and postal companies found in 27 countries (Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, Brussels, Barcelona, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.).You are part of a team that is responsible for the development of our software products. Development is carried out in a Microsoft environment and in accordance with recognized software engineering and quality assurance practices (specifications, prototyping, technical reviews, etc.)

Main responsibilities

  • Identify and analyse the company’s needs with regard to organizational efficiency, changes, opportunities and risk management (diagnosis)
  • Participate in defining the organizational structure and links between management groups and functional teams to ensure the organization’s ability to perform
  • Collaborate in designing and implementing organizational-development and change-management strategies with a view to reinforcing the corporate culture and optimizing the effectiveness of systems and the development of personnel
  • Identify, define and monitor performance indicators linked to the analyses performed and strategies deployed
  • On the basis of the selected performance indicators, evaluate the actions taken
  • Facilitate collective-reflexion initiatives
  • Act as an advisor to internal clients on the most relevant approaches for their context

  • University degree in an appropriate field
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience (organizational development, project management, business intelligence, etc.)
  • Sense of analysis and synthesis in a business context
  • Flexible and capable of handling ambiguity
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects while respecting deadlines
  • Ability to influence and inspire teams to action
  • Skilled at communicating with a range of stakeholders
  • Proactivity and initiativeVersatility and thoroughness
  • Interest in teamwork
  • Ability to communicate in French and English (oral and written)
