ABB Power Grids (PG) offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.Reporting to the National Channel Director, the OEM Account Manager will be responsible for formulating and implementing an OEM strategy in order to meet Power Grids’ market penetration and growth objectives through attracting new OEM customers and by increasing spend at existing customers.

Your responsibilities Formulate and implement an OEM sales strategy aligned with the national channel strategy, budget expectations and Power Grids priorities and capabilities.

Identify, assess, categorize and prioritize the OEM accounts in the territory.

Develop relationships with new OEM customers, and act as Account Manager for existing customers.

Work closely with the business lines to establish pricing and OEM-support strategies Define key targets and metrics (e.g.

volume, product-mix, pricing) to measure performance.

Establish periodic performance assessment activities with key OEM partners.

Ensure detailed account plans with regular follow up are in place.

Manage pipeline and forecast.

Generate monthly activity report.

Provide the organization with relevant market intelligence.

Contribute in sales and frame agreements negotiations.

Ensure appropriate communication, promotion and training activities within the OEM community.

Monitors customer financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams.

Your background Bachelor’s degree in engineering/business/commerce 3 years of experience in the power and industry Direct OEM sales experience (preferred) Extensive electrical equipment sales experience Proven history exceeding sales targets in competitive markets Located in Toronto or Montreal area Ability and willingness to travel >60%, across Canada Bilingual (English/French) preferred
