Working as a part of the Kantar Insights Canada Client Leadership team, a pplies recognized functional knowledge and researc h skills to ensure that pr ojects are executed on time and within budget to the satisfaction of clients.

Support strong client relationships and account development through attention to detailed client requirements.

Manager, Client Leadership Toronto, Bloor St East Working with occasional direction, and following general instructions and established methods, main duties and responsibilities are as follows: Research Design & Project Activation Participate in determin ing appropriate research design, providing recommendations, as appropriate.

Write draft proposa ls outlining research design that address es client business issues Work with the Costing Team, p repare cost estimates of individual projects for revie w and input .

Activate projects with accounting and ensure that all accounting requirements are fulfilled.

Data Collection Provide direction and assistance to the Pro gram Leadership (PL ) team in the development of questionnaire content and any required study materials.

Being kept informed of data collection progress.

Project Management Provide any required direction and assistance to PL as they : Prepa re for ms required to initiate project Coordinat e with client regarding study execution Liais e with internal departments to communicate project plan and ensure effective coordination of logistics at various stages of the study Monitor progress of project to ens ure timely completion on budget Trouble shoot and problem solv e where required.

Review and approve codebooks from Coding department Coordinate with PL and Sampling/Mark et ing Science to ensure that the agreed upon weighting scheme has been applied to the final data set Data Reporting & Analysis Provide direction to PL and/or Operations Liaison ( OL ) on tab specifications, so data tables can be generated efficiently.

Provide input for banners to PL /P rogramming Liaison and approve final tab
– plans Review tab specifications created by OL to generate computer data tables for studies.

Sense
– check accuracy of data tables .

Provide direction and assistance to Charting/Data Design, as they p repare draft reports and presentations .

Use research industry tools to pull data for additional/ad-hoc reporting needs Prepare reports and presentations for review Pull verbatim comments Conduct preliminary analysis Draft initial commentary/headings for reports or basic data summaries and make edits based on feedback from senior staff Participate in client present ations.

Client Relations/Account Management Support the development and maintenance of strong client relationships through attention to detailed client requirements and being proactive and responsive in any client dealings.

Support the management of client relationships and of account development by engaging in understanding client business issues, and contributing to the alignment of research solutions with their marketing needs.

Collaborate with other client service team members to ensure superior account servicing.

Business Development Support achievement of corporate growth targets: Convey and promote the broad range of Kantar product and service offerings.

Expand and develop business with new and existing clients by assuming direct responsibili ty for studies.

Develop business contacts through networking activities and participation in professional organizations .

Supervision/Coaching/Mentoring Provide guidance to junior client service staff, as required, sharing knowledge and teaching job skills.

Supervise the work of any assigned junior staff, taking responsibility for quality and accuracy of output before review by senior staff.

To succeed, you’ll need: University degree Good understanding of the market research ind ustry, with 3 year s of direct experience.

Good understanding of research concepts and methodologies.

Applies identifiable functional knowledge.

Fluent English language skill.

Superior writing ability with strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly motivated with the a bility to take direction and follow-through independently, taking charge of all applicable project requirements, ensuring their timely completion.

Above-average organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.

Strong conceptual thinking skills, analytically minded, with keen attention to detail.

Good judgment and decision-making abilities.

Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to attract, expand and uphold client relationships.

An enthusiasm and interest in contributing to the growth of the business.

Proficient in MS Office.
