LeddarTech is a dynamic and stimulating work environment where, through interactions with our international teams, you will have the opportunity to contribute while continuing to improve your skills and expertise.YOUR MISSION:Reporting to the CFO, the FP& A Director will provide financial planning and analysis data to Management that is timely, accurate and insightful.

You will work to establish a framework around strategic business planning processes and link strategic initiatives to performance.

Initially, the Director of FP& A will work as an independent contributor with the chance to build out a team as the business needs demand.

You will lead and coordinate with senior management the annual budget process.

The Director of FP& A role will require strong communication skills and act as a thought leader and key point of contact for financial forecasting, analysis and financial impact of business activities Main responsibilities include:Run budgeting process from end to end, including annual budget plan exercise, preparation of annual budget, continuous forecasting and presentation to management; Produce monthly, quarterly reporting on actual versus budget including variance analysis and review with department heads; Develop, assessand adjust a KPI dashboard of key business metrics that help business leaders to track performance and forecast in a real time manner; Analyze currentand past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, expenses and profitability; Develop business and financial models in collaboration with the key stakeholders in the operations for a range of potential scenarios based on different operational cases; Assist the CFOwith supporting analysis and deck preparation for the Board and investor/analyst presentationsContribute to long term strategic planning process; Contribute to the quarterly MD& A in conjunction with Vice President Finance; This role will have direct reports in the near future which will involve the following team management responsibilities:Oversee, direct, and organize the work of financial analysts; Ensure staff receive timely and appropriate training and development; Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments; Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; and monitor and evaluate results.The ideal person for this job will have:Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting; Professional designation (CPA CMA); Over 8 years experience in a senior FP& A role preferably in a software or services company; Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret information, develop insights and communicate effectively at a senior level; Public company experience required; Experience in acomplex multinational environment; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities; Ability to workwithout direct supervision; Bilingual (French/English) is mandatory; Advanced Excel skills (Pivots, Lookups, Index Match, etc.)TEMPTING RIGHT?
