This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted March 17, 2021.

POSTION SUMMARY Reporting to the VP Asset Management and BI, your responsibilities include overseeing the infrastructure, the enterprise applications, and the information technologies operations.

You will manage a team, ensuring the best technology solutions are in order to achieve business goals, minimize security risks, increase users satisfaction, maintain operations and systems.

As such you will be a role model to lead a team of IT professionals and be accountable to ensure the IT function support and deploy solutions to the finish line with high performance.

Additionally, you will play a key collaboration role with other departments and business units to ensure the IT team is providing the necessary support, resources, infrastructure and technologies deployment that meet the business needs.

RESPONSIBILITES Leading the IT function across all locations (multi-country), managing multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization and working closely with the VP to define the vision for technology in line with the company’s strategic plan.

You will also be accountable for capacity planning to achieve this plan in collaboration with the IT PMO.

Contributing to establish a solid IT services foundation to support the company’s growth with a SaaS and PaaS first approach.

Building an agile and evolving team to stay on top of current technological trends.

Managing all the IT functions and processes, including infrastructure, service desk and development.

Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires.

Determining business requirements for IT systems.

Identifying and eliminating security vulnerabilities with strategic solutions that increase data security.

Elaborating the information security plans and policies and enforcing them across the organization.

Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware.

Identifying and recommending new technology solutions.

Overseeing the service desk team.

Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.

Overseeing finances, including budgeting and forecasting for the IT department.

Managing the suppliers for hardware, software and telecommunications services in collaboration with the procurement department.

Implementing executive policies.

Ensuring efficient KPIs to maintain the IT function efficiency REQUIREMENTS B.S.

in programming, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field Masters-level degree, such as an MS in information technology or an MBA focusing on tech or business is an asset.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing IT services (ERP, CRM, Service Desk, ETL and other SaaS systems) including 5 years’ experience managing a team within an IT environment.

Fully bilingual (English and French) with superior communication skills.

Leadership and management skills.

Analytical mindset to develop and utilize reliable metrics.

Business savvy and understanding of other, non-technical parts of the business.

Cooperation and collaboration.

Financial skills including budgeting and forecasting Experience with multi-site management and cloud-based solutions.

Experience with support, maintenance and continuous improvement of ERP and CRM.

Experience in enterprise applications integration.

Experience in Agile methodology.
