Also, you are looking to have an impact, in your job, your workplace, and the World too, by working for a company that brings innovation to another level.Job DescriptionYOUR CONTRIBUTIONUpon your arrival, you will be a key member of the Enerkem Project Management Office team and responsible for the centralized coordination of the Project and Portfolio Risk Management function.

You will be accountable to support the PMO in the planning of the risk portfolio, in charge of the development of risk standards and risk management strategies, ensure communication of requirements to team members as well as providing support to Project Directors in individual projects.

In collaboration with Project Directors, you shall embed and energize the practice of proactive identification and management of risks within the projects to maintain a living view of the risk profile for each project in the context of the Enerkem portfolio of projects.

All of this shall be completed whilst maintaining alignment with the company’s business requirements.Reporting into Enerkem’s Project Management Office within the Project Delivery Group, you are expected to lead the development and support the implementation of a Risk Management culture within Enerkem.

You shall bring the required Project Risk Management expertise to assist the Project Directors, workstream leaders and project controllers in the development and execution of projects.Your Role And Responsibilities Will Be The FollowingDevelopment of Risk Management standards, processes, and best practicesSupport the Senior Director, PMO in the development of the Risk Management function and embedding as well as promoting a proactive and living Risk Management Culture within the companyAssist the PMO in the definition of Enerkem’s Risk Management process through project development and execution phases of the “Enerkem Way” to promote consistent delivery and continuous improvementIn conjunction with the PMO, develop and communicate processes, policies and tools across the organization and ensure compliance to standardsSupport project teams to identify appropriate risk management approaches in estimating and planningProvide support to the Business Development teams in the early stages of risk identification and assessment process for project opportunitiesHelp to define the escalation process relating to performance issues relating to risk (risk profile not improving) and traceability for contingency drawdownsAs a key to continuous improvement, help the PMO to develop Business Intelligence through identifying project success factors using project analyticsDevelop best practices, lessons learned and support the PMO in communicating these effectively throughout the organizationPortfolio Risk ManagementProvide integrated risk oversight for projects in the portfolio to enable effective measurement of portfolio risk against a baseline profile and ensure project level mitigation measures are in placeDevelop a relationship with the Project leadership teams to promote sharing of lessons learned for successful mitigation measures as well as ensuring proper communication of these within and across projectsDevelop Portfolio and project level monitoring through integrated dashboardProject Risk ManagementProvide proactive Risk Management support to Project leadership teams and project teamsWork with Project Directors to develop project specific quantitative risk assessment metrics such that appropriate mitigation planning can take placeFacilitate regular Risk Management Meetings for projects within the portfolio to identify, assess risks and engage team members to freely communicate risk exposuresAssist and coach risk owners to develop appropriate and effective mitigation plans for their risksDevelop with project leadership teams’ tools to follow Risk Owners for proper follow up on mitigation measures and any changes in the risk profile of specific risksQuantify risks with project teams and use appropriate tools to help Enerkem adequately communicate risk to project teams, Senior management, stakeholders, and project equity partnersAssist project leadership teams with project equity partners or clients in establishing Enerkem point of view on Project Risk, while providing complete analysis and what-if scenariosCollaborate with PCO, Planning and Estimating teams, while establishing standardized methods for evaluating Cost and Schedule Contingency estimation and help the teams streamline their business processesWhile in development or execution phases, employ active risk management methods to reduce impact on cost and schedulesAs required, support the Project Leadership teams to proactively manage changes within the project scope, identify potential problems and help develop mitigation plansProject risk reporting and metricsDevelop reporting tools to help increase transparency and visibility of project performance through reliable project data for the entire project portfolioCollaborate with other PMO team members to develop and prepare regular reports to support project leaders in decision makingDevelop and implement project risk metrics to measure and enhance project performanceYour QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field requiredMBA and or M.Sc.
