Duties and Responsibilities: As the Director, Privacy, you will be strongly aligned with our Legal, Product and customer-facing functions.

In this position, you will play a critical role in leading our privacy program to ensure that it exceeds legal requirements and customer expectations.

Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining our privacy framework and related policies Serving as the subject matter expert on global privacy regulations and best practices Creating and maintaining data maps, records of processing activities and data transfer solutions Creating and updating data protection agreements for internal and external stakeholders Collaborating with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure privacy requirements are embedded in product Conducting privacy impact assessments Assisting with audits Managing data subject requests in a respectful and efficient manner Engaging with clients and prospects to answer their privacy questions Developing and maintaining material that addresses common privacy questions Educating staff on privacy practices Assisting our Legal team with contract negotiations Liaising with regulators as required Monitoring changes in global privacy requirements and leading the implementation of appropriate compliance efforts Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Law Work Experience: A minimum five (5) years of experience in a privacy compliance or privacy legal related role with strong experience in people management Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust along with the ability to work independently Ability to manage complex business situations and develop solutions to ensure compliance In-depth knowledge of various privacy laws and standards including GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, CASL, PDPA and HIPAA Certifications such as CIPP/US or CIPP/EU Criminal record check required To apply for this opportunity, please forward your resume to
