You will implement sharing communities on lessons learned and best practices in project and program management.CHALLENGES TO BE METLead, coach, and mentor all project and program managers to develop a culture of collaboration and performance.Accompany the team, using different tools such as targeted training, coaching and others, in the acquisition of the skills necessary for success.Recruit and monitor the performance of project and program managers.Provide support, advice and expertise to team leaders who act as stakeholders in projects.Contribute to the development and development of practices, governance standards, processes, project management tools and parameters and Agile approaches.Implement a culture of continuous improvement through, among other things, learning forums and ‘lessons learned’.Ensure ongoing alignment with all BDC transformation initiatives and the Agile Chapter.Receive and prioritize any new request for an initiative or project, in line with business priorities, and ensure that a project or program manager is assigned according to the context, experience of the resource and its skills.Ensure excellent management of the various stakeholders.Actively participate in the development of a project management culture focused on business value.Provide a favorable environment for the deployment of a dynamic, enriching, and innovative project management community of practice.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORAs this role requires a wide range of challenges, BDC is looking for a generalist leader who is comfortable with collaborative, innovation-driven management practices to support and accelerate the major transformation underway across BDC.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or other related field combined with relevant experience in project management.Master’s degree in project management, an assetAt least fifteen years of experience in project management, including at least five years in managing large-scale projectsExperience in human resources management, both internal and externalKnowledge of best practices and principles of project delivery (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) Knowledge of agile frameworks (SAFE, SCRUM, DA, etc.) Disciplined Agile, an asset.Proven leadership and coaching skillsFlexibility and a leader in changeInfluence skills, political understanding, and sense of priorities Bilingualism (English and French) is essential, oral and writtenWith us, you’ll be able to achieve the work/life balance you’re looking for, with competitive working conditions and above-market flexible benefits.This includes modern workspaces to work from when you are in our offices, and, for some specific positions, the ability to work remotely, on reserve, and/or within your community.Important Point to ConsiderVaccination Policy for COVID-19: The health, well-being and safety of our colleagues, clients and of the community are a top priority for us.
