BI Data Engineer


This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted May 9, 2022.

  2. We are seeking a superstar Data Analyst to work with a high performance team and help the delivery of Analytics & BI projects. You will be at the center of the BI&S efforts to help improve the Logistics Strategy team’s efficiency and to generate value for the business.


  • Research, develop, modify, and deploy data-collection processes
  • Develop policies and techniques for gathering and analyzing data
  • Review and validate incoming data
  • Work in conjunction with the IS/T department to provide recommendations about  hardware and software upgrades to simplify how the organization leverages data usage
  • Analyze data before reporting findings and data-driven recommendations to the company for decision making
  • Collaborate regularly with various departments and staff members
  • Work in an Agile team environment to enable BA and BI DEV for solution requirements
  • Interact with customers to evaluate product performance and identify areas of improvement
  • Analyze data for market patterns and trends


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Analysis, Finance or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of data analyst experience
  • In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to manage information, data, and correspondence on multiple levels
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally with various business stakeholders
  • Problem solver with critical thinking skills including an aptitude to adapt to change and thrive in a dynamic organization
  • Highly motivated to work in an open team environment, employing a collaborative, continuous improvement, and innovation mindset


  • Experience with, MS Power Bi, MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, SQL, Data Visualization, Machine Learning or Artificial intelligence

The selected candidate will be based in Sherbrooke or in Montreal.
