Marketing Manager

The marketing team of the BRP Marine Division manages the Manitou pontoon brand and the Alumacraft aluminum fishing boat brand. In collaboration with product development, design and innovation, sales and many shared services teams such as web, e-com, emails, data & insights, connectivity, CRM, partnerships, etc. the marketing team has the mandate to enable retail growth through state-of-the-art branding, content and consumer activation strategies.



The Marine marketing team is looking for a Marketing Manager, Demand generation & Channel management to join us in our mission to Make Waves in Marine. In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, Branding and Storytelling, our agency partners and shared services experts, you are responsible for all brand (B2C) and dealer marketing (B2B2C) activities, from campaign development to activation.


People & Relation Management

  • You act as a mentor, coach and reference, and develop team member engagement by leveraging dynamic and inspiring leadership tactics
  • You support the growth retail plan and bring our brands’ equity to the next level by focusing on consumer experience and consumer engagement
  • You lead a team of professionals working on developing and bringing to life reach plans designed to win the hearts and minds of our consumers, ultimately winning market shares
  • You manage the relation with our sales team/dealer network development team, media agency, research agency and the BRP Digital Factory (shared services) marketing experts’ team
  • You partner with sales to ensure dealer marketing programs are adopted, communicated, and shared throughout the dealer network

Program Management

  • You lead the development, planning, execution, and optimization of compelling reach plans including media (highly digital), email, website, e-commerce, shows & events, and dealer marketing plans (tools and programs)
  • You examine the customer experience across all channels to ensure we are meeting the consumers needs and maximizing engagement
  • You manage the brands’ activation budgets throughout the annual budget cycle: annual planning and budgeting, quarterly forecasts, monthly actual in addition to its full execution

Data, Insights and Optimization

  • You take accountability for campaign performance by systematically tracking results against targets, leveraging internal (Data & Insights shared services team) and external (agencies) resources, leading a formalized governance, demonstrating agility and a great ability to think outside the box, recommending ways to improve plans effectiveness to against campaign and business objectives
  • You recommend and conduct marketing research to better influence the consumer engagement strategies, such as pre/post campaign trackers, consumer profiles and segmentation, etc.
  • You seek feedback and conduct after-action reviews to establish learnings and improvements to apply to future projects, programs and campaigns


  • Bachelor’s degree minimum
  • Minimum 8 years experience in the industry
  • Must master the English language (written and spoken)
  • Fluent in French is an asset
  • You have a builder mindset: you know how to navigate through complexity to create the future
  • You are a go-getter: you achieve results on what you set-out to do
  • You demonstrate key business instincts: you understand the company’s vision and mission and translate them into a plan at your level
  • You are a team player
  • You know how to lift people up (engagement, empowerment, recognition)
  • Experience in a media agency is an asset
  • You are channel marketing savvy: media, email, web, events, etc.
  • You are marketing technology savvy: LMS, CRM, Google Analytics, SEM/SEO, Facebook Ad Manager, etc.
  • You manage schedule (workback) and budget efficiently
  • You have a highly analytical mind, a high proficiency on Excel: ability to slice and dice data to extract insights, synthetize and communicate findings
  • You have excellent presentation skills, both visual/graphical (PowerPoint) and spoken
  • You know how to adapt to different audiences (direct report and colleagues vs sales vs top management)

This position is based in Montréal or Sherbrooke, QC.
