Technical & Hospital Sales

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted April 2, 2018.

Summary of responsibilities

  • Promote & sell AMG infection control specialty products with a primary focus on the Nocospray system
  • Expand end user sales and network contact base including KOL outreach for the Nocospray system and for all the other AMG focus infection control products
  • Sign and sell direct contracts with end users
  • Effectively cover and grow sales with all accounts and regions assigned within the territory (Hospitals, Long term care and other Healthcare providers)
  • Penetrate and develop U.S. market in bordering Quebec for Infection Control focus products
  • Successfully complete and achieve the majority of targeted bonus and revenue objectives
  • Provide product presentations & in-service training to all markets on all Infection Control focused products sold by AMG
  • Train and educate & provide technical field support to all the sales personnel on the Nocospray system
  • Attend trade shows within Quebec and outside of the province when necessary

  • Deliver scientific presentations to target markets and KOLs (key opinion leaders) and industry influencers
  • Lead scientific exchanges with regulatory affairs, quality assurance and insurance providers
  • Develop professional relationships within the healthcare/scientific community, particularly among KOLs
  • Maintain and update scientific expertise of company products and related therapeutic areas
  • Provide scientific information and educational support
  • Overnight travel may be require approximately 1 week/month within Canada and North Eastern U.S.
  • Above average ability to negotiate, persuade and sell
  • Must be self-driven and result oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work with other departments and follow company guidelines

Principal accountabilities

  • Sell A.M.G. products and grow A.M.G. revenues within the territory
  • Provide on-going sales support and product training to end-users and direct clients
  • Manage top accounts diligently to ensure sales growth and to protect the sales of key product lines
  • Propose and implement new programs for clients
  • Coordinate and communicate all information regarding sales calls     



  • Requires a post graduate degree in a relevant scientific discipline
  • Relevant industry experience in the hospital market
  • 2-3 years of successful experience in selling infection control products
  • Knowledge of hospital contract processes
  • Knowledge of work processing and spreadsheet software required

  • Ability to manage and maximize ROI on time and sales effort with accounts and end-users
  • Ability to quickly identify key decision makers and stakeholders involved in the decision to purchase
  • Ability to effectively analyze sales results and assess territory performance
  • Ability to successfully close sales leads within a timely manner
