Business Development Manager

Itergy International Inc. - Montréal

What the Business Development Manager role is about:

You will develop and close new business within the Montreal corporate market for enterprise-wide solutions based on Microsoft infrastructure technologies, such as Active Directory, Exchange, System Center, Lync, Office 365.

You will work to improve Itergy’s market position and achieve financial growth by defining long-term organizational strategic goals, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. Strategic planning is a key part of this role, since it is the business manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

What you will be responsible for:

o   New Business Development: prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients; research and build relationships with new clients; meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network; plan persuasive approaches and work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives, etc.

o   Business Development Planning: grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients; present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and solutions; attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends; using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

o   Management and Research: ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM; work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner; research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities; understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.



  • 5+ years’ experience in selling enterprise-wide technology solutions;
  • Proven successful experience in new business development;
  • Experience in negotiating terms of client proposals and in successfully managing the end to end selling process;
  • Ability to make and articulate complex technical solution sales / propositions (This is NOT a Product Sales role);
  • Excellent communicator with outstanding presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Exceptional consultative sales approach;
  • A winning attitude with enthusiasm, energy, persistence and a desire to be successful.;
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, System Center, Lync, Office 365), Mobility and Managed Services;
  • Driving License and Car.
