Therefore cooks have to prepare food and meals in the various National Defense establishments, in Canada and abroad, following strict food safety regulations no matter the environment they are in.

Watch the descriptive video via the following link: https://forcesemplois.com/164e TASKS: Prepare and serve meals that range from cafeteria-style menus to formal multi-course meals for military and civilian dignitaries Assist in the handling and control of food and non-food supplies Practice workplace health and safety procedures Provide for Religious and Spiritual dietary accomodations Manage food safety and Defence Operate, clean and maintain food services equipment and facilities CONDITIONS: WORK SCHEDULE In the Regular Force, members work on bases and stations across Canada and on operational deployments around the world.

In the Reserve Force, members adapt their schedule to suit their needs.

They can choose to work full time or part time on a voluntary basis.

SALARY For the REGULAR FORCE, the salary varies between $38016,00 and $116040,00/year depending on experience.

For the Reserve Force, the salary varies between $101.96 and $295.04 per day.

The salary increases according to the rank and experience of the military at the applicable rate of pay.
