Position Vision System Integrator Montreal, Canada [#645] Location Montreal Canada Education Level Bachelor’s Degree Employment Type Full-Time / Permanent Function Software Development ResponsibilitiesAs an Averna Vision System Integrator you will be part of a multidisciplinary team combining mechanical, electrical and software expertise.

You will have to face many challenges and will have to succeed resolving them by implementing software solutions combining your expertise with other members of your team.

You will also have to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment according to the different projects you will be working on and the best-in class products you will be introduced to.

Your contribution in this role: Participate in the conceptualization, selection and integration of equipment such as machine vision sensors and profilers, imaging optics, lighting, associated control, motion, and software platform both conventional and AI based, etc.

Produce software solutions using high quality and effective methods of development Deliver functionalities on-schedule and rigorously tested Be creative in proposing new ideas Document her/his vision systems, their configurations or their software modules Participate in estimating programming and integration tasks Provide technical leadership to support other members of the team RequirementsThe ideal candidate in a few words: Degree: Computer/Software diploma or related experience Experienced: Experience in machine vision applications and software development (.NET, LabVIEW, Python) Desired Characteristics: Team player, ingenious, autonomous, eager to learn and improve skills, committed to quality & good communication skills.

Competent: The candidate must be comfortable to work in a multidisciplinary environment that goes beyond vision and software development only and will have to work with specialists in electronics, mechanics, embedded systems, etc.

Assets: AIA Certified Vision Professional, experience with Halcon, Keyence and ViDi software platforms, experience with at least one of this language: .NET, Python, NI LabVIEW or NI TestStand.

Bilingual: fluent in FrenchEnglish written and spoken.

Any other language is an asset.
