TEAM LEADER – SALES ENVIRONMENT – INSURANCE AND BANKING INDUSTRIES

 

YOUR ROLE

In collaboration with the management team, the team leader is responsible for supporting and developing a group of 15 sales advisors. Support consists but is not limited to ensuring your agents meet campaign sales, quality and schedule adherence requirements. In addition to supporting existing senior agents the TL is responsible for the integration of new agents onto the campaign. The team leader is the subject matter expert and is the first point of contact for agent inquiries. Day to day coaching is the most important aspect of the role to drive performance and employee engagement.

HERE IS A GLIMPSE OF YOUR WORKING DAY

  • Maintain a positive and opened working atmosphere while keeping your team motivated and productive;
  • Measure in real time the performance and productivity of your agents, suggest and implement necessary corrective measures proactively;
  • Develop the agents through coaching discussions aimed at changing a particular behaviour that will drive improvement in a specific key performance indicators;
  • Coordinate activities to meet the objectives of the campaign;
  • Communicate individual and team results, identify performance gaps and monitor action plans;
  • Listen and evaluate the quality of calls and provide feedback;
  • Take “supervisors” calls by resolving customer complaints;
  • Act as an agent of change by implementing a high performance culture;
  • Manage employee schedules and ensure your team meets organization attrition targets.

  • Relevant experience in team management;
  • Fluent in English and French, written and spoken;
  • Have a high-performance, results-oriented culture;
  • Good knowledge of the functioning of and automated call generator (asset);
  • Analytical skills and decision-making abilities;
  • Dynamism, good listening skills and respect for others;
  • Ability to commitment, self-control and diplomacy;
  • Flexible working hours: 9am to 11pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm Saturday;
  • Strong sales, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • Pedagogue and strong communication skills;
  • Pro-efficient with PC skills (Word, Excel, Internet, Email).
