Job Synopsis We are currently seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team.

The System Administrator must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware and networks.

The System Administrator will mainly be responsible for monitoring key systems and processes in a high availability environment.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and file deliveries.Develop, maintain, and monitor procedures for all server backupsPerform on-site and remote technical supportAssist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resourcesMaintain excellent communication with the IT Network Operations Director on all tasks and projectsCreate and maintain technical documentationProvide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.Escalating critical issues to senior system administratorsAny other tasks as assigned Functional ProficienciesAEC + Four or more years of systems/network experience is required3-4 years of experience with Linux operating systems3-4 years of experience with Windows Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory.Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with Cisco routers & switches, and Checkpoint firewallsBasic Windows PowerShell scripting skillsExperience setting up and managing database systems such as SQL ServerAdvanced hardware & software troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a high availability environment.

Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independentlyMust possess above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem solving skills.
