Spatial Interface Engineer

Our most recent project is the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM). REM will be the fourth largest automated transportation system in the world once completed and is also the largest public transit project in Quebec since the Montreal Metro. The future integrated network will link downtown Montreal, the South and North Shores, the West Island and the airport. Alstom is looking for qualified candidates to fill positions on this exciting new chapter of urban transit in Montreal.

For this project, we are looking for two Spatial Interface Engineers.


Participate to the spatial integration between the infrastructure contract (IAC) and our Electromechanical contract (MRS). 


Civil Works Interface Engineer responsibilities include :

Participate to the consistency of the spatial information given to the infrastructure contractor in accordance with the project scheduleParticipate to the detailed integration with the infrastructure contractorPrepare the integration phaseParticipate to the infrastructure delivery follow-up in relation with the construction teamFollow and co-ordinate the Infrastructure contractor’s modifications in relation with our design and delivery.


Educational requirements

Master University Degree in Engineering

Technical Knowledge / Experience

Knowledge of railway systems, available equipment and systems, especially for those involved in the installation and interfaces with the Civil WorksAt least 3 years of experience in Engineering / Technical functions
