Other duties may be assigned:Content Development: Be creative.

Develop content for multiple brands while understanding each brand’s unique identity and place in the market.

Create and manage content calendars for all brands MTD supports and sells.

Utilize content from our MTD Corporate partners, experiential, retailer and dealer events.

Create original content that is Canadian and regionally specific.

Produce photos, videos, infographics and similar visual story telling assets, as required.

Align content calendar with business initiatives, promotional events and marketing content strategy.

Work with and grow a network of bloggers and influencers to develop appropriate brand and product content that can be leveraged across multiple social and digital platforms.

Provide content to support our social media strategy and to our website team at an appropriate pace.

Ensure brand voice, tone, and creative alignment are adhered to.Email Marketing Campaigns: Use Marketing Cloud to create and execute email marketing campaigns by brand that align with the consumer journey and business initiatives that cross all channels.

Analyze and optimize for a shared experience, ensuring all potential opportunities to collect consumer emails and data are sought out, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Social Media: Manage multiple social media accounts for MTD’s priority brands.

Develop seasonal social media strategies that align with business needs.

Actively engaging with our audience and growing this channel.Digital Advertising: Provide internal expertise to support seasonal digital marketing initiatives for appropriate brands.

Create digital assets and messaging for multiple platforms as well as be aware of the SEO strategies across brands.

Responsible to manage and share all digital campaign analytics as well as summarize and make recommendations.Develop an annual experiential event plan based on business initiatives and brand distribution.

Execute action plans for each experiential event to ensure graphic assets, giveaways and event staff are prepared to present a holistic consumer experience.

Review all events on an annual basis to ensure they are continuing to meet key performance indicators.

Research prospective event opportunities and administer contracts, staying within budget.Manage the Digital Asset Management platform, organizing Canadian assets appropriately.

Championing efforts on behalf of Marketing to ensure all assets are organized appropriatelySupport the marketing team in the planning and execution of engaging trade shows, line reviews or any other required events.Responsible to monitor budget for experiential events, social media and content creation.Continue to be knowledgeable of current social media, digital advertising, SEO optimization and website development trends and best practices.

Make recommendations for continuous improvement.Minimum Qualifications:University degree or college diploma in marketing1-2 years’ experience in social media and/or marketingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe softwareDemonstrated understanding of social media channels
