You greet and acknowledge all customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide quick, responsive customer service.

You are able to provide in-depth, specialized knowledge and advice to customers regarding live nursery and lawn & landscape merchandise.

You maximize departmental sales by encouraging the sales of related items and add-on sales as applicable to customer needs.

The Lawn and Landscape Pro shares their specialized knowledge of lawn and landscape with other associates thereby enhancing the service level within the department.When not involved in sales with customers assist Department Manager with ordering and receiving of live nursery products and merchandising in the garden centre and lawn & landscape areas to meetthe needs of the customers within their market.

Other duties as assigned.

Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.

Required to work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and business needs, but may be changed by store management based on the needs of the store.Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day require advanced notification and approval by supervisor.

Hourly Full Time, Part Time or Seasonal: Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40 hours per week respectively; more hours may be required based on the needs of the store.

This position reports to an Assistant Store Manager and takes daily direction from a Department Manager.

This position does not have direct reports.Exigences du posteThe qualifications we are looking for :1 year experience selling live good, nursery or landscape supplies.2 years experience working as a landscaper in industry.2 years trade or vocational school in the landscaping or live nursery trade.2 years experience working as a landscaper in industry.2 years trade or vocational school in the landscaping or live nursery trade.

Licensure or certification as a landscape designer.Lifts up to 40 pounds daily without assistance; may lift up to 100 pounds with or without assistance.The Lawn & Landscape Pro may be required to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittent relief where applicable, under difficult work conditions such as in extreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed to constant/intermittent sounds (if applicable).Lowe’s Canada is an inclusive employer.
