Job Description My client a large commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking a Bi-lingual Lease Administration Analyst to join the Team in their Montreal office.

The position requires the candidate to be fluent in both English & French, with a good understanding of Commercial Leasing.

The Lease Administration platform supports a diverse set of client needs from basic management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits, my client provides comprehensive knowledge and access to data across the portfolio that enables their clients to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance their core business.

The Lease Administration Analyst will be responsible for the full scope of Lease Administration.

For immediate consideration, please call Abby Rubin (604) 836 – 2672 and email: RESPONSIBILITIESAbstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases)Rent variance analysis and rent payment processing Client/vendor/landlord relationship managementResolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issuesReviewing annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations to ensure accuracy and lease complianceData entry, validation and management of lease documentsTracking and maintaining critical datesReview CAM and other escalations & real estate tax invoicesSubtenant account management and billing/collections of third party tenant rentsSpecial projects as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONSBilingual in English and FrenchIdeally a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance2 years of work experience in lease administration, accounting, or property managementExpertise in understanding and interpreting complex commercial lease languageAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the capability to master company specific accounting and database programsStrong financial and analytical skillsExceptional attention to detail and organization skillsAbility to understand and interpret data
