This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted August 14, 2019.

Description Reporting to the Project Manager, the incumbent will support the High Performing Organizations (HIPO) program activities whose goal is to attract, develop and retain airline finance talent and build a community of airline finance professionals.

The focus will be on building and developing an industry community of airline finance professionals.

As the community is about to be launched, the intern will have an opportunity to contribute significantly to its implementation and further development.

In addition, the incumbent will coordinate the IATA Airline Finance Internship Program, increasing airline participation, growing the number of internships and ensuring program quality.

The incumbent may also assist in the development, delivery and evaluation of the IATA Finance Academy, a new industry-wide international professional training program, including coordination of course material development.

Responsibilities Plan and implement community activities and communicationsResearch and create relevant community contentPrepare communications such as emails, web and social media posts, newsletter articles and learning eventsCollaborate with and mobilize internal and external stakeholdersBe the first point of contact for community members and contributorsAssist airlines in their registration and onboarding to offer internships as part of the IATA Airline Finance Internship ProgramPromote career paths in airline finance to universities and studentsCommunication with participating universities and airlines by email and telephoneConducting and analyzing feedback surveysTracking project progress and preparing status reportsOther project coordination and administrative tasks as required Qualifications and Skills University degree in business, human resources, education or related area; Excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail; Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills with cultural awareness; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, other languages would be an asset; Highly computer literate, advanced proficiency in Excel would be an advantage; Analytical skills with the ability to summarize findings and recommend solutions and improvements; Ability to work effectively as a team member in an international and multicultural environment; Previous work experience in project coordination, communications, and/or in the air transport industry or at a training provider (university or college) would be a strong asset;An interest in workforce and digital transformation in finance and other areas would be an advantage.People are at the heart of everything we do at IATA.
