This is a Full-time position in Montreal, QC posted August 12, 2019.

Our client is currently looking for an HR Specialist to join their team.

The HR Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support in all aspects of human resources and talent acquisition.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain a long-term strategic human resources and talent acquisition plan in support of company’s initiatives and corporate goals; Reside as the expert in human resources, employment law and labor relations issues; Work closely with HR Team to develop and execute recruitment strategies and programs to support operational staffing needs; manage entire recruitment process, draft position descriptions, manage interview process and negotiate salary packages with new hires; Remain current on all aspects of human relations, wage management, manpower planning, recruitment & selection strategies, health and employee’s development strategies; Support Senior HR partner on payroll and vacations management; Act as ambassador of the culture and values of the company in all interactions with the departments, teams and candidates for employment.

Knowledge and Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge in human resources and labor relations; 3 years of experience in Human Resource.

Experience in the IT Industry an asset; Have excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to influence people at all levels of the organization; Have strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations, coach, develop and motivate staff; Have knowledge of all applicable labor laws and regulations; Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and French; Strong organizational skills, creative thinking and a proactive mindset; Start-up experience and an ability to fill gaps and take on new tasks is a strong Working conditions: Extended Health coverage after successful completion of probationary period (3 months), including dental; Daily access to on-site private gym, with access to a personal trainer; Subsidized, health-focused breakfasts and lunches provided daily by our professional chef; Open-concept, modern office, calm environment; We encourage collaboration, continuous learning and personal and professional development for each of our employees.
