Group Fitness Instructor, Social Dance

The YMCAs of Quebec – Downtown Centre is looking to add a talented and highly professional group fitness instructor to their team. Your energy and fun-loving personality will contribute to an exciting schedule of group fitness classes. You will bring to the team a strong ability to design safe, effective and creative classes. To support your professional development, the YMCAs of Quebec provide their instructors several opportunities to attend interesting and current workshops.You will be part of a dynamic group that work diligently to ensure the best membership experience to our members each and every time they come to their YMCA.


Ensures safety is always a priority.

Interacts directly with members and participants.

Adapts class to meet the needs of all exercisers.

Ensures procedures and policies are followed.

Adhere to the YMCA’s Child Protection Policies and Procedures.

Understand and integrate the value of philanthropy in his post and in the Association and participate in activities / fundraising events.



Minimum 1 year experience in field. Certification in Dance, YMCA certified F.I.T or equivalent. CPR First Aid certification ( an asset ) Very good English and French verbal communication skills. Have no criminal record in connection with employment.
