As a People Data Business Analyst at BRP, you will support the transformation of the company by delivering People reporting and insights visibility to the HR team and company leadership.

In this high-visibility role, you will work with HR, business leaders and data consumers to identify reporting and analytical requirements, independently developing business and technical requirement documentation while also leading in developing reports, dashboards and analytics to meet these requirements.

If you love wrangling HR data to deliver insights, digging into processes and becoming a lead on the data domain(s) you support, all while exercising creative freedom to shape a growing next gen people data platform in a fast-paced environment, you will have a blast with us.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Take lead in designing, building, delivering and maintaining world-class People reporting for all areas of the business using Snowflake and Power BI (or other Data Visualization Tools) Collaborate alongside a cross-functional team (data engineering, analysis, data science, etc.) that is 100% focused on People Analytics priorities Lead and participate in business-facing meetings to gather requirements and make recommendations around reporting / analytics solutions Play a key role in the daily support of end-users’ ability to access reports and/or effectively utilize the reporting platform Prioritize work with the team in an agile methodology, ensuring there is a forward looking roadmap for features to be delivered for the data products People Domain Participate or lead activities that ensure redundancies for the People Analytics function (documentation, automations, etc.) Develop deep understanding of the various HR and business processes, data sets and data deliverables YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 5 years of related to business and/or data analyst experience (preferably in a highly confidential domain) Working knowledge of BI and data warehouse concepts and terminology (ideally in a Snowflake environment) Experience building reports and dashboards in PowerBI (experience in Tableau, Qlik, BOBJ, MSTR or similar platforms will be considered) Proven experience with business and technical requirements documentation (ideally in Confluence), analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development Experience as an HR professional or with HR process considerations Exposure to ticketing systems (salesforce) an asset Experience in SQL and/or Python an asset Self-motivated and able to work independently Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines Excellent business acumen, with an ability to connect the dots and tell stories using data Detail-oriented person who is passionate about quality and enthusiastic about new technology Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel (or equivalent G-Suite products)
