Commercial Collection Agent

Summary

As a Collection Agent, you will be responsible for recovering outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. You will use your excellent communication and negotiation skills to resolve payment issues and ensure timely collections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact clients via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding debts.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions in our database.
• Investigate and resolve disputes regarding debts in a professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure efficient collection processes.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in finance or business is a plus.
• OPC permit
• Proven experience in collections or customer service, preferably in a financial environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with collection software is an advantage.
