Under the supervision of the maintenance centre director, the mechanic performs various maintenance and repairs to different units.

More specifically, the intern will :

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMP) on trucks/tractors/trailers and forklifts;
  • Diagnose and make repairs;
  • Weld various equipment parts;
  • Perform other maintenance work or related repairs;
  • Perform all other related duties.

Requirements :

  • D.E.P. (Vocational Studies Diploma) in Heavy Duty Commercial Transport Mechanics, construction equipment in progress;
  • General computer knowledge;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Versatility;
  • Analytical;
  • Creative;
  • Ability to problem solve;
  • Welding experience (asset).
