We are headquartered in Denver, Colorado and have data centers in Columbus, Dallas, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Minneapolis, Montreal, New Jersey, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ashburn where we provide local dedicated support teams for our colocation and interconnection customers.Our company is backed by one of the largest North American Infrastructure funds and we have huge growth ambitions.About the Position: The Cooling Technician/Technicien Frigoriste is responsible for the operation of the cooling systems of the data centers including among others the cooling units (Chillers), CRAC, CRAH, pumps, condensers, etc.What you do daily: Responsible for data center cooling infrastructure Manages and maintains the temperatures and cooling capacities of all data centers Maintains detailed site documentation such as single line drawings, such as build and inventory list Plans physical installations of new equipment such as CRAC, In-Row, and central cooling system Responsible for managing the diagnostic and repair processes in the event of a major breakdown or equipment breakdown.

Must manage suppliers when required and keep all parties informed of progress until issue is resolved.

Make recommendations to prevent the problem from reoccurring Writes incident reports when required after a major failure Optimizes air distribution to achieve the best PUE or address a specific load Documents and schedules preventive maintenance as specified by the manufacturers of the equipment used Documents and approves maintenance requests and procedures for all data centers that are part of the change management system Supervises and verifies the operating records of all data centers Coordinate the work of several suppliers such as preventive maintenance, capacity increase, client system installation, etc.

Maintains accurate documentation of maintenance reports, temperature trends, etc.

Ensures that industry best practices are met in terms of cooling and documentation Participate in the development of pre-sales solutions Manages installations according to aggressive schedules Maintaining good relations with suppliers Organizes and gives training sessions to data center operators on cooling equipmentWhat makes you a good fit: (Qualifications) Minimum 5 years of experience in managing critical mission environments MMF certificate Experience with various cooling systems (Chillers, CRAC, CRAH) Knowledge of direct expansion (DX) and closed loop chilled water systems Familiar with the Uptime Institute and the Green Grid principles Experience in large and complex construction projects Ability to read and understand a single line diagram Perfectly bilingual (oral and written) Comfortable to work in a 24/7 environmentNOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
