Technical Recruiter / Community Manager

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted July 1, 2018.

Here is what your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Mapping the regional ecosystem talent pools across Canada and identifying A-players
  • Connecting regional talent with interesting technical learning events and meetups
  • Soliciting feedback from attendees and encouraging participation in ecosystem events
  • Participating in and planning meetups, ecosystem events, and university career fairs 
  • Managing and building relationships with the technical talent pool across the country
  • Writing job descriptions and catchy job ads Working directly with hiring managers, coaching and guiding them throughout the interview process
  • Sourcing, headhunting, and conducting phone screens and in-person interviews
  • Working on internal company culture and external employer branding projects

Here is what you need to bring to the table:

  • A bachelor degree in business, human resources, marketing or a related subject
  • A passion for empowering communities and individuals
  • An appreciation of tech culture and passion for technology
  • Full proficiency in the English language including the ability to engage with the community in writing is required
