Job Description Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Sr / Director of Sales is responsible for managing key sales channels and sales programs at SSENSE.

He/She will manage the overall strategy of the Pay-Per-Click, Search Engine Optimization, and Email channels, in addition to managing the Personalization and Loyalty programs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in business development with a strong focus on performance marketing, data-driven optimization, and program management.

Responsibilities Channel management
– 30% Manage the long term strategy & roadmap of the Pay-Per-Click, Search Engine Optimization, and Email channels while supporting a direct team of channel managers & specialists into meeting short term performance and project delivery objectives.

Ensure channel management best practices & company standards are met through the leadership of their managers across the team.

Promote & drive a rigorous focus on Data Driven Channel Management practices across the team.

Oversee the implementation of Pay-Per-Click budget across platforms (i.e Google, Facebook), countries, and campaigns to deliver against cohort acquisition targets while finding new opportunities for growth and innovation.

Work closely with the Data Science, Product and Technology teams to continuously improve Pay-Per-Click automation engine, SEO functionality, and Emailing solutions.

Program management
– 30% Lead the Personalization program across the company, with a special emphasis on the web, app, and email touchpoints.

Partner with Product, Data Science, and Online Merchandising to enrich and evolve the existing set of personalized touchpoints by continuously a/b testing new promising ones to further elevate revenue per session.

Lead the Loyalty program across the company, bringing new and innovative customer oriented solutions that drive business forward in meanwhile ways.

Partner with Product, Merchandising, and Operations to enrich the existing set of perks by a/b testing new ones to further elevate top customer lifetime value.

Scale perks and tactics as far as commercially viable.

People Leadership
– 40% Hold weekly one-on-ones, conduct performance reviews, analyze individual KPIs and assess promotion readiness to help each contributor evolve in their roles Ensure team mobilization by regularly gauging team engagement and implementing appropriate means to create a transparent, collaborative and productive work environment Identify current gaps within the team/department structure and work with Senior Leadership on resourcing plans Establish the resource plan for the direct team Establish the short term objectives for the department and ensure teams are engaged towards achieving the department’s missions Enforce the Department’s mission and vision throughout the teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, Master’s degree an asset MBA from a leading academic institution or strategy consulting experience, an asset Successful track record leading high performing teams to deliver outstanding results Strong understanding of integrated marketing and multi-channel strategies Knowledge of Google AdWords an asset Bilingual (French & English written and verbal communication skills) Skills Highly motivated and organized Highly analytical and detail oriented Creative thinker with excellent problem solving abilities Strong ability to present, synthesize and influence change Proven ability to consistently perform independently and as part of a team Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
