POSITION OVERVIEW The Senior Analyst, Marketing, Segmentation and Client Experience Analytics takes a key role in the Marketing team to enable trusted business outcomes.

He or she will ensure we measure the impact of our marketing strategies in the entrepreneur ecosystem by continuously tracking, anticipating, and guiding actions through client data analytics, business partnership and storytelling.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET Engineer reusable common data models and pipelines from disparate sources Ensure data collection, preparation and processing are accurate for marketing and CX.

Develop, define, document and maintain client experience and marketing data schema, dictionary, structure, pipelines and their business use cases (e.g., taxonomy, tagging, etc.).

Perform the analytics work using the right enterprise technologies and analytical techniques.

Ensure optimal tracking and reporting of marketing, segmentation and client experience activities Translate business goals, initiatives, campaigns into actionable metrics with baseline targets (e.g., engagement, sales, impact, return on investments, etc.).

In collaboration with Marketing Managers and other analysts, build a strong marketing campaign tracking framework to ensure we report on campaign performance in a timely and ongoing basis.

Use, develop and enhance self-serve analytics tools (e.g., spreadsheets, dashboards, etc.) to demonstrate Marketing impact and contribution to BDC targets for both national and regional campaigns (performance of communication tactics, number of clients, MQLs, opportunities created, loans generated, etc.).

Compare and contrast BDC results with external data/research and other benchmark sources.

Align with Client Analytics team to improve collaboration and efficiency (e.g., analytics environments, data governance, etc.).

Provide insights and guidance for marketing, segmentation and client experience strategies Participate in Campaign planning and ideation and help set and define KPIs for campaign tracking.

Analyse BDC portfolio and market data to identify key trends and movement between segments and the emergence of new client groupings.

Seek data in operational systems to run the necessary statistical analysis on segmentation and client satisfaction results with the objective of supporting the understanding of said results – root cause analysis of result and trends.

Build custom reports and dashboard(s) to help the team gain insights into BDC’s overall performance and facilitate decision-making & recommendations (based on data).

Develop and interpret team level Power BI reports, help identify gaps & new business opportunities.

Proactively advise on potential new marketing and client experience activities based on data and insights.

Take ownership of work and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., client acquisition, marketing automation, lines of business, finance, economic research, etc.) to ensure well-communicated and timely delivery.

Produce material (PPT presentations, emails) to support the communication of analysis.

Present key findings to various stakeholders and committees.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 5 years of relevant work experience driving analytics initiatives in marketing 3 years of experience developing reports and visualizations based on existing data structures and models in a team environment.

Power BI a strong asset 3 years of experience with data tracking of digital marketing activities (emails, webinars, campaigns, CRM, etc.) Understanding of commercial banking is an asset Bachelor’s degree and/or experience in Analytics, Strategy, Finance or Marketing disciplines Results focused self-starter with excellent analytical skills and an ability to decompose ambiguous questions into data problems and answer with clear, actionable insights Ability to translate complex data into concrete, actionable business insights Good written and oral presentation skills Experience in a large B2B or B2B2C organization Experienced or trained in querying data with SQL, transforming data with SQL, M Script, DAX Superior command of Excel (data cleansing, pivots, tables, functions, data modeling, Power Query), PowerPoint and Word Join BDC and help make a difference With us, you’ll be able to achieve the work/life balance you’re looking for, with competitive working conditions and flexible benefits.
