Online Community manager


This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 5, 2018.

The social community manager is a creative storyteller with experience in creating compelling programs that grow brand awareness, brand loyalty, and build audience engagement across all social media platforms You will provide support to the marketing team by becoming a highly active, engaging and powerful voice, building brand awareness and building relationships with customers & influencers.

What you will be doing:

  • Create highly engaging social content
  • Plan and coordinate livestream broadcasts
  • You’ll be a key contributor to social operations and strategy
  • Build and maintain relationships with social influencers
  • Create marketing opportunities to drive favorable brand buzz and coverage via social media
  • Distill conversations happening across social channels to identify emerging trends and opportunities
  • Monitor brand’s online communities and presence
  • Engage with existing and prospective customers across all online platforms
  • Report on performance of brand content in social space
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on social media strategies that align with organizational initiatives and goals.

What you need:

  • 1- 2 years experience in social media management
  • Photography, videography and design skills
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest…)
  • Strong oral and written skills in English and French
  • Over the top interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Mevo is a plus
  • Basic knowledge in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator to create and edit content
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
