Within the Marketing department you will have the chance to join a leading company in its sector in the heart of Old Montreal.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing activities of the company. Key success factors include: ability to plan, manage and prioritize activities, write documents, commitment to meeting deadlines, ability to work in a team and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Support and collaboration with the sales team – see to tenders and presentations needs when required.
  • Event organization – trade shows, fairs, and business and corporate events, webinars, etc.
  • Production of marketing material – banners, promotional items, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with different departments to establish and execute marketing needs.
  • Participation in various industry activities (postings, contests, partnerships).
  • Solicit support from customers and partners for different marketing initiatives.
  • Visual creation.
  • Track the marketing budget.
  • Respect of the graphic charter and the brand of the company.
  • Other related tasks to support the team as needed.

Communications

  • Content development (white papers, case studies, infographics, press releases, etc.)
  • Writing blog articles.
  • Website updates when required – knowledge of WordPress an addition.
  • Update social networks on an ongoing basis – Corporate LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Writing of internal and external communications of the company – newsletters and employees, promotional and informative newsletters, etc.
  • Production and distribution of newsletters.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent command of English and French (oral and written)
  • Writing skills
  • Very good knowledge of social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Very good knowledge of the MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of layout software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of Sales CRM (SalesForce) and CRM Marketing (Hubspot) an asset
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics an asset
  • Knowledge of WordPress an asset
