Customer engagement agent


This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 5, 2018.

ChallengeU is looking for a customer engagement agent to support the marketing team by engaging with prospects and customers across multiple social platforms.

You will be responsible for making initial responses to information inquiries without any sales pressure. You are positive and professional with a focus on solving problems and doing whatever it takes to make a difference to every customer every time. You relate well to all kinds of people, listen attentively, and can hone in on the most important issues. You explain things easily, in ways that people can understand.

What you will be doing:

  • Make initial responses to inquiries, comments and other contacts generated through social media, sms and email
  • Coordinate escalations and further communications with Marketing Team
  • Use your troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to come up with solutions
  • Listen carefully to each customer with patience and courtesy
  • Answer questions without sales pressure to ensure prospects are able to make a well informed decision
  • Build customer relationships – earn their loyalty and trust by being polite and helpful

What you need:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in customer service environment
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms
  • Excellent oral and written French and English skills. Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the google suite is a plus
  • Over the top interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gather and analyze data
