Advisor – Internal Communications


This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 1, 2018.




Reporting to the Director, Internal Communications, the incumbent develops and manages programs and communication tools for the internal stakeholders, including employees, to maintain and increase engagement.

The incumbent will therefore help to ensure that the approximately 850 employees in Montréal, New York, London, and soon, Hong Kong, are up to date on life at the organization. He or she will provide attentive and creative support to their internal colleagues for the drafting and dissemination of messages, while fostering a listening approach and open lines of communication throughout the organization. The incumbent must demonstrate unrivalled writing style, with a touch of levity or seriousness, as circumstances warrant. 



  • Advise internal colleagues on internal communication strategies and tools, and develop appropriate communication plans according to needs.
  • Take part in the creation and deployment of internal communications with the aim of mobilizing employees to adhere to the values and objectives of our strategic plan, Vision 2021.
  • Revise and proofread documents and presentations geared to various employee groups.
  • Assist with communications for certain events.
  • Draft and update content on our intranet site and other internal publications.
  • Coordinate and take part in the preparation of monthly and annual reports.
  • Write video scripts and organize short video shoots.
  • Perform all other tasks related to his or her primary role and in support of his or her internal colleagues.



  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or equivalent



  • Three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role


Knowledge & Skills

  • Perfect bilingualism (French and English), written and spoken
  • Excellent writing skills in French and English
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, diligence and efficient time and priority management (ability to manage multiple projects at once)
    • Good judgment, autonomy and a sense of responsibility
    • Team spirit and positive attitude
    • Knowledge of SharePoint (an asset) and MS Office suite
