Assistant Painter required, full time, permanent, Compeititve salary upon experience from $ 22.00 to $ 26.00

• Interpret projects, specifications of sketches and technical specifications.
• As a colorist painter, you will be involved in the design of designer furniture on commercial scale projects.
• Ability to prepare color mixes on demand
• Prepare the surface to be painted
• Application of tinting products
• Application of finishing products
• Application of protective coatings
• Sandblasting, stripping, execution of touch-ups
• Application of finishing products
• The preparation of dyes
• Recognize finishing products
• Distinguish finishing processes
• Use equipment and finishing products
• Comply with health and safety rules
• Apply quality control rules
• Plan your work

The painter must know the finishing products, processes, equipment, apply health and safety rules, apply quality control rules, plan his work, prepare surfaces, apply products, apply coating products , perform stripping and touch-ups
Qualifications  Required

Seccondary V High School leaving Certificate

Ability to manage time, autonomy and positive attitude

Team player (able to share knowledge with colleagues)

Ability to communicate effectively and without delay any apparent defect during assembly and any equipment failure to the production manager

Manual dexterity, patience, meticulousness, motivation and commitment to the job
Experience in this field would be an asset
