JOB SUMMARY
Works independently under a general supervision to process casting through chemical etching.
DUTIES/RESPONSiBILITIES
- Mixes and maintains etching solution as per written instructions.
- Maintain a log for casting and a log for solution checks.
- Process casting through specific base / acid solutions as required per process.
- Use of etch equipment
- Performs pressure tests as per requirements.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Respects the values and code of ethics of the company.
- Respects the Environment, Health & Safety programs of the company.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to handle hoists
- Visual dexterity
- Manual dexterity
- Physical standing all day
- Uses sound judgment
EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE
3 to 6 months in a manufacturing environment
