Your challenge!

In an operational excellence and customer focus oriented culture, Cascades would like to add a logistics coordinator (distribution centre and/or warehouses).

With more than 200 sites (internal and external), the logistics coordinator’s main objectives will be to provide customer service and improve costs by implementing a strategy to optimize our logistics network.

Job Responsibilities More specifically, under the responsibility of the Logistics Network Operations Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will support the plants (Canada and the United States) in defining internal and external warehousing and distribution needs.

Either through a complete analysis of needs and the environment.

In order to propose and implement efficient improvements in terms of warehousing and distribution, which will meet the needs of our business units and our customers.Following this, he will have to collaborate with category managers (strategic purchasing) to identify opportunities according to the targeted regions.

Finally, he will support the plants in the implementation and use of the new warehouses.The Logistics Coordinator will also have the following responsibilities:Manage relations with external stakeholders;Follow up with external stakeholders on a weekly basis to identify and resolve the various issues identified;Supporting the analysis of the distribution network, optimization and consolidation of warehouses;Identify standardization and cost reduction opportunities;Increase the agility of our network in line with our goal of being customer-centric;Influence stakeholders in the implementation of logistics solutions.

Education Bachelor’s degree en Engineering ou Logistics Desired experience Possess a minimum of 5 years in a distribution center and/or warehouse (handling, moving, shipping and receiving management and inventory optimization) Technical competencies Mastery of SAP, in particular the WM-LE modulesMastery of the Excel SOLVER (an asset) Additional information Geographic mobility required in Canada and the United States (about 25% total time).
