This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted November 27, 2018.

The Logistics Officer operates in a fast-paced environment. This role also includes maintaining the store such as tablet relining, in-store presentation and general maintenance. He (She) can be interacting with customers.

exploitation• Ensure that retail principles are applied effectively (eg, reline, labels, front of presentation, etc.).• Garnish shelves and displays in the correct locations.•• Browse the sections assigned to him daily to determine the work to be done.• Ensure inventory accuracy and monitor and report low inventory levels (eg, empty location verification and display capacity analysis).• Use computers and RF readers and enter all relevant codes into Canadian Tire systems.• Ensure sales locations are filled.• Help with price changes; is to change the price tags,• Help the receipt of merchandise by scanning the goods in small gray bins.• Develop skills by taking part in training activities and listening to feedback.• Comply with department, store and company policies.• Respect all health and safety programs and rules. Report immediately any danger or risk of danger observed.• Use professional language and professional appearance (uniform, hygiene and name tags) when interacting with others.• Perform other duties as required.

In accordance with store policies and practices for health and safety:

• Standing and walking for 8 hours.• Lift and transport goods regularly, frequently and without assistance, as needed. The weight of the goods may vary from “light” to “heavy”.• Raise and turn a load repeatedly during a shift.• Lift a load over the shoulder and from the floor to the shoulder or waist.• Ability to climb on and off a ladder, wearing items.• Walk while carrying a load and push or pull a load, as needed.

Strong focus on excellent customer service.• Very accessible customer service oriented person who likes to offer exceptional customer service.• Strong belief in Canadian Tire’s values of honesty, integrity and respect.• Proficiency in the French language, spoken and written (eg, sounding, listening, etc.) and ability to maintain professional communication, even in difficult situations.• Ability to perform retail tasks according to guidelines and demonstrate accountability for results.• Ability to work in a team environment in a fast-paced environment where colleagues help each other to achieve common goals.• Ability to solve problems related to retail or customers.• Ability to adapt and cope with delicate and changing situations.• Positive attitude, punctuality and excellent work ethic.
