Our client is looking for a Technical Manager Systems Design, who’s role will consists of having the overall end to end design and integration responsibility of the solution. Working hand in hand with the functional designers, Application integrators, the Technical Manager Systems Design will deliver the complete solution. The Technical Manager Systems Design is involved from A&P all the way to stabilization. The person is responsible for understanding all integrations points and their impacts on testing, deployment and stabilization activities. This person acts as a facilitator between all the different roles. The Technical Manager Systems Design is the glue between all the players in a complex and multi-layer project team.

You have a strong business acumen and are comfortable dealing with different groups varying from front line users to senior managers and Directors. Your core strength is understanding software applications, their varying integrations, and how they operate. You have a strong passion for thinking ahead of the curve and looking at the next or future solution.



Salary : 120000$ + Bonus



Support and collaborate with Architecture and Project Management to define solution and high level plan;
Participate in business requirements gathering workshops with the BA and leverage the business processes and architecture decisions for designing a detailed integrated solution via the blueprint;
Coordinate solution design, build and test activities with the various leads, satellite teams and external parties;
Assess solution/environment readiness for progression to various delivery stages;Improve processes or methodology;
Coordinate and escalate solution issues during delivery;
Coach team members on knowledge and work methods;
Support business analysts, functional designers, and architects in the requirements gathering phase;
Support architecture teams in building high level design architecture;
Have or acquire overall application and project knowledge coupled with a deeper understanding of specific detailed are of expertise;
Ensure proper transition of solution to application support teams;
Participating in meeting with stakeholders for defining requirements, troubleshooting issues, and other meetings as needed for supporting the Control system;
Participating in system integration and acceptance testing of the Control system;
Reviewing integration plans, integration reports and test procedures;
Providing all technical documentation for configuring and supporting the Control system, troubleshooting procedures and processes and end-user how-to guides;
Provide work estimates;
Analyze system issues and/or business requirements to design effective, high-availability, business-critical solutions;
Manage cross-project dependencies and overlap to reduce risks for successful go-lives;
Coordinate the delivery of a complete solution;
Evaluate/assess upgrades, priorities and criticality;Make recommendations for process and tools improvements;
Define the stabilization and knowledge transfer plans;
Ensure that the transfer has been successful to the support teams;
Apply, and ensure compliance with, all appropriate standards (ex. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, etc.).


Strong experience in solution deliveries in medium to large enterprises within mission critical systems;
Staff Management experience;
Experience in preparing specifications;
Experience preparing, reviewing integration plans, integration reports and test procedures;
Ability to translate business requirements into detail design specifications;
Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills;
Bachelor’s degree and 15 years’ experience or equivalent;
Up to date in emerging technologies and their potential uses;
Occasional travel is required;
Bilingual (English and French) (oral and written) is a must;
Able to communicate, document and comprehend comfortably at different levels of detail over functional and technical components (hardware, software, functional and non-functional);
Experienced in a distributed complex environment implementation;
Strong proven experience in Complex Application and IT Solution build and integration using 3rd party products.
