System Analyst

Our client, an organization with an international reach, is seeking a System Analyst (7503).

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements;
  • Formulate and define system scope and objective based on user needs and understanding of business processes;
  • Create user stories that turn business requirement into actionable items for the development team;
  • Develop, write, and communicate systems design, functional system specifications and functional architecture analysis;
  • Ensure completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions;
  • Perform system analysis, design, and configuration;
  • Understand and analyze systems to determine strengths and weaknesses and provide system improvements/ modifications;
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection and application of new and emerging tools and techniques;
  • Makes recommendations for modifications or technical solution to increase effectiveness and efficiency;
  • Keeps abreast of new and emerging technologies;
  • Documents system modifications;
  • Develops system manuals;
  • Provide technical guidance on the business impact and opportunities;
  • Assist IT team as required.

  • 7 + years of experience as system analyst with more than 2 years in Sw development roles;
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology;
  • Knowledge of JIRA as the SDLC software;
  • Experience with Confluence;
  • Excellent knowledge of Use Cases, BRD;
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL;
  • Understanding of web technologies and proven experience in system specification;
  • Experience building flowcharts and other visualizations;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical, technical, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations, systems requirements and configuration, and IT processes and technologies;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and operate with limited supervision;
  • Natural curiosity and proactivity;
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately under pressure;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables;
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed;
  • Ability to perform in an international and multi-cultural team environment;
  • Ability to work in an environment with high level of confidentiality.
