Our client is seeking a Sr S1000D Contenta RWS Specialist Consultant to assist in migrating from a legacy system to the Contenta S1000D environment.
Initial 6 month contract, working fully remote in Canada.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with S1000D standards and the Contenta RWS (Repository Workflow System) and possess a deep understanding of the challenges involved in such migrations. This role involves troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing expert guidance to ensure a smooth transition and effective use of Contenta.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the migration process from the legacy system to the S1000D Contenta RWS, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
– Analyze and address issues encountered during the migration process, providing practical solutions and workarounds.
– Collaborate with the client's technical team to configure and optimize the Contenta RWS environment.
– Develop and implement best practices for the use and maintenance of S1000D data modules within Contenta.
– Provide hands-on support and training to the client's staff, enhancing their ability to effectively use Contenta.
– Create detailed documentation and training materials to support the ongoing use and troubleshooting of Contenta.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all S1000D Contenta RWS-related inquiries and issues.
– Stay current with updates and developments in S1000D standards and Contenta RWS to ensure the client is utilizing the system to its fullest potential.
Must-have skills:
– Extensive experience with S1000D standards and the Contenta RWS.
– Proven track record of successfully migrating systems to Contenta S1000D.
– Certification in S1000D or Contenta RWS.
– Experience with XML and related technologies used in S1000D.
