What we’re looking for: We are seeking a dynamic Software Developer to implement the next generation user interfaces with haptic feedback for industries such as AR/VR, Mobility, Automotive, and Gaming.

Applicants must have a good balance of software design and technical skills, with an innovative mindset to create compelling experiences from rough guidelines and requirements, through various levels of rapid prototyping.

Reporting to the Manager of Research and Development, you will be responsible for owning the design portion of our innovation and product prototyping initiatives and making UX concepts and ideas suitable for user testing.

To show us you’re ready, you’ll be expected to demonstrate your prototyping and design thinking abilities during the interview process.

What you will be doing: Develop user interfaces with state-of-the-art and next generation haptic feedback technologies.

Work both independently and in collaboration with other engineers, scientist, and UX designers.

Develop user interfaces on multiple platforms (Windows, Android, iOS or Linux).

Collaborate with business decision makers to discuss user interface requirements and brainstorm UI ideas.

Write reports and prepare presentations on project results.

About you: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

At least 2 years’ experience developing user interfaces for Windows, Android, iOS or Linux.

Knowledge of Unity programming.

Skilled in modern application programming languages, such as Java, .Net, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, XHTML and Ruby.

Fluent in the essential front-end web development languages, i.e., HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Basic knowledge of usability testing to identify and fix UI issues and gather real-world intelligence from target users.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Understanding of user-centered design principles.

Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.

Self-starter, well organized, able to advance multiple tasks in parallel, able to work alone and in small teams.

Other valuable skills: C, C++, C# and other Object-Oriented languages Scripting languages such as bash, perl, groovy, etc.
