NetSuite Programmer Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted February 8, 2019.

Our client, based in Verdun, is looking for a NetSuite Programmer Analyst. Your mission : You’ll be part of the team that studies, designs, develops, and deploys custom automations and workflow solutions for customers using the NetSuite SuiteCloud platform. Your main responsibilities will include: Apply best practices for defining custom solutions on the NetSuite SuiteCloud platform. Participate in pre-sales activities in terms of technical validation and scope estimation. Gather commercial and technical requirements through interviews and analysis. Produce system design documents and participate in technical demonstrations. Manage code development by system design document. Perform user acceptance testing for complex solutions. Monitor project progress and report to stakeholders Participate in internal meetings including knowledge transfer, mentoring sessions and other strategic initiatives.

Technical knowledge :
DEC in Computer Science.
NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certifications and SuiteCloud Developer.
2+ years of experience in a top-tier consulting firm or in the professional services organization of a leading provider of management applications.
3+ years experience in developing and maintaining client / server and / or Web applications with a relational database backend (Oracle preference).
Technical background, experience in system architecture, object-oriented design, as well as Web frameworks and templates.
Ability to write detailed technical design / specification documents capturing workflow processes, technical use cases, exception handling and test cases.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
Control of error resolution, error handling and debugging.
Experience with IEDs, source control systems, unit testing tools and defect management tools.
Practical experience of XML / XSL and web services (SOAP and WDSL).
Functional and technical skills.
Experience in ERP implementation.
Experience in web application development using JSP / Servlets, DHTML and JavaScript.
Mastering the application integration layer and the customization environment of at least one major ERP or CRM application: SAP – ABAP, Oracle – Open Interface Tables, PL / SQL, Siebel – eScript, SalesForce. com – APEX.
Personal skills :
Ability to define technical requirements, detail functional specifications and design technical solutions.
Ability to accurately estimate the time required for programming activities and deliver them on time, on budget, and in accordance with established quality standards.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Great customer orientation.
Strong communication skills to keep management and users informed throughout the project.
Ability to collaborate with other team members at all times.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a collaborative and fast environment.
Perfectly bilingual French-English (verbal and written).
