Manager Integration Team


This is a Contract position in Montreal, QC posted May 3, 2022.

The role of the Integration Team Manager is to plan, manage, organize and control the work of the integration team under his or her responsibility. The integration team manager proactively supports integration activities and guides the development of integration solutions aligned with business requirements and architecture strategies. The team is composed of multidisciplinary resources to develop and maintain interfaces and integration solutions at BRP. The manager is responsible for staffing the team with the appropriate skill set to support BRP projects and growth.

Additionally, the integration team manager is part of project teams with accountability for the design and development of the integration solutions. Outside of project work, the manager collaborates with the Enterprise/Solution architecture team, Solution Managers and Delivery Management teams to share best practices and ensure alignment in terms of technology strategy.


  • Gather and analyze business requirements to identify and prioritize opportunities to improve efficiencies and processes through integration.
  • Design and implement integration flows and enhancements, including APIs, ETLs  and/or event-driven integrations.
  • Partner with project teams to support and provide oversight in designing and developing integration solutions.
  • Determine, conduct, and automate integration tests, load tests, and performance tests, including facilitating set-up of test data.
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation for integration solutions.
  • Proactively monitor integration performance and troubleshoot, resolve, and report integration issues to impacted teams and stakeholders.
  • Adhere to established development and integration processes, best practices, and standards.
  • Participate in integration vendor and tool selection to meet business needs and support development team workflows.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve goals.


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent project-related experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in IT, with at least two years in managing integration teams.
  • In-depth experience designing and implementing integration solutions.
  • Ideally, formal qualification in Enterprise Architecture (e.g. TOGAF with Archimate) or formal qualifications in integration technologies. 
  • Bilingualism (French and English)


  • Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy with the ability to design      information systems to deliver that strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of integration design and development processes (e.g. development, testing, debugging).
  • Demonstrable strong experience in data and system integration.
  • Proficiency with data and integration modeling, manipulation, and distribution between applications.
  • Strong proficiency in relevant coding languages and development framework (e.g. Java, Javascript, SQL).
  • Experience with integration platforms and technologies (e.g. Talend, MongoDB, Google Apigee, Azure Functions, SAP PI).
  • Ability to convert business requirements to business processes and technical designs.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
