Landmark Advisory Services is looking for a Market Research Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Montréal, QC posted March 9, 2018.

Conduct market surveys and market research as required; gather information from various sources;
Monitor local and National real estate market trends;
Produce marketing materials such as market surveys, business presentations, etc.;
Produce and distribute various reports;
Communicate with team members, landlords, brokers, clients, governmental authorities and other real estate professionals as needed;
Compile and maintain a national contact database of landlords, brokers, and other professionals, etc.;
Organize and attend property and sites visits, as required;
Research and present the local economic, urban development, demographic, etc. contexts to clients, providing background information to assist in real estate-related decisions;
Interpret zoning by-laws, obtain information on permitting procedures and generally act as a liaison with municipal urban planning, inspection, permitting and economic development departments in zoning and land use matters;
Participate and contribute to other initiatives such as custom reporting, special projects, etc.;
Other tasks, as required.

 Other occasional tasks:

Conduct spatial analysis and produce maps using GIS;
Participate in the conception and design of client deliverables.

  1. A Masters in Urban Planning or in a field closely related, at the very least; 
  2. Fully trilingual: French, English and Technology; 
  3. Mandatory excellent knowledge of the traditional Office and DTP software; 
  4. A master in research techniques and principles and good working knowledge of spatial and GIS software; 
  5. Good at simplifying and demystifying seemingly complex situations and turning them into useful and easy to comprehend information; 
  6. Client-driven, results-driven with an understanding of what it takes to get things done; 
  7. Shift seamlessly from team player to lone wolf to get the job done and to facilitate the process; 
  8. Understand people and respect them; 
  9. Go beyond yourself without getting ahead of yourself.
