Implementation Specialist

DESCRIPTION

The person sought will provide consulting services for the implementation of the Poka software application at its customer’s locations,  in Canadian manufacturing industries and abroad. The consultant may also assist the sales team in the presentation of the Poka solution.

The consultant will lead the complete implementation cycle of the solution: needs analysis, processes alignment, software configuration, training and post-implementation coaching. As part of implementation projects, you will develop and implement effective change management strategies, tools and action plans to prepare organizations for Poka’s integration and ensure employee engagement.

The main objectives of the professional services group are to deploy the Poka solution such that it quickly creates business value for the client, facilitates the subsequent autonomy of the client, and fuels the increased usage of Poka.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be required to:

  • Build service proposals for clients;
  • Lead the Poka solution implementation projects to meet client’s business requirements;
  • Act as the project manager in implementation projects;
  • Analyse the current situation at the customer factory in terms of systems, tools, daily operations processes, training strategies, knowledge management, etc;
  • Carry out implementation, software configuration and documentation activities;
  • Support and advise the client in change management activities, accompanying and deployment strategies;
  • Provide user training;
  • Provide shop floor post-implementation coaching to support the change and insure quick adoption of the solution;
  • Occasionally participate in sales activities;
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal tools, methodologies and processes.
  • Other related duties.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing industries in one or more of the following disciplines: continuous improvement, production management, quality management, talent & learning management;
  • Consultative approach or experience/expertise in change management, training and/or software solution deployment;
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.

 

General Criteria

  • Strong communication skills, in technical presentations and in customer interactions;
  • Good project mangement skill;
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies;
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work and learn independently;
  • Availability to travel regularly (approximately 75% of the time);
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

REQUIREMENTS
